A piece of furniture/decorative motif may look beautiful on a standalone basis but may disturb the theme of the interiors. A carefully curated exquisite piece of furniture/art deco may instantly light up a dull space. It is useful to visualize the interplay of various design elements before embarking on that binge buying for a piece you liked at a flea market or an upmarket furniture lounge.
